Amanda Wills Snider graduated from Louis D. Brandeis School of Law in May, 2004. Upon passing the bar in October 2004, Amanda acceted a position as a Narcotics prosecutor in the Commonwealth Attorney's Office in Louisville, Kentucky. For three years Amanda prosecuted hundreds of narcotics cases working closely with Louisville Metro Narcotics. Amanda developed an expertise in criminal cases involving narcotics, specifically in regards to the law involving suppression issues.
In February 2007, Amanda transferred to the Commonwealth Attorney's office in Shelby County, Kentucky. As First Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for the 53rd Judicial District, she prosecuted hundreds of felony cases in Shelby, Anderson, and Spencer Counties. These cases ranged from class D to A felonies including Murder. In addition, Amanda was appointed Special Assistant County Attorney in Shelby County and managed the felony docket in District Court. Although Amanda has an extensive background in criminal law, she handles all legal matters including family and personal injury. We pride ourselves in providing our clients with zealous and effective representation. Should you choose to retain Amanda, she will handle your case personally with the same passion she used throughout her successful prosecution career. Amanda represents clients throughout Central Kentucky, including Jefferson, Shelby, Spencer, Anderson, Bullitt, Hardin, Oldham, Henry, and Franklin counties.
